One night back in November around Thanksgiving of last year...holy cow 5 months ago already!..I went with the family to find new phones for mom and dad. My mother and father got phones with some kind of touch screen that I can't operate, and I knew that mom was going to have problems with for sure.
I am a HUGE texter. I text all the time, and I have always texted my mother hoping that one day she would text me back saying something witty or funny. Instead of texting back, she would always end up calling me because she thought that text was an incoming call. Oh mom....
February 24 was a groundbreaking day. She learned to TEXT.
Since then, I have received a single text message a day from mom. They are random, or they go along with one of the acts in my show. I'm sharing these because I think they are awesome/wonderful. I'm also keeping the typos in:
1. Mom: Hey Proud mary. Have a good day rollin down the river. Love mom.
2. Mom: Plastic go go boots. Ha ha. Love. Mom.
3. Mom: All that Jazz. Cabaret. New Yprk new york. Love. Mom.
4. Mom: Call after the show. Miss you. Mom.
5. Mom: Don't know why I did not hear from you last night? Call me. Love. Mom.
6. Mom: Breakfest is served 6 to 10.
7. Mom: Smile. You are a wonderful person. Feathers and black underwear. Love. Mom.
8. Mom: I can smell Celebration Music Theatre Popcorn. Love. Mom.
