OK Cupid...really?

A few weeks ago, my roommates and I were sitting on the bed at our hotel room.  We lived in a Fairfield Inn for two weeks before the big move to the condo in the retirement community. Lovely.  We got bored and we were trying to think of things to entertain us because we didn't have a car at the time, and Myrtle Beach is not exactly the party place in February.

We decided to make me an OKCupid profile.  Just for fun, not for serious.

Since then I have received 78 messages from man-boys that have showed interest in me.  I haven't responded to one because in all honesty I am so creeped out from their messages alone, why would I actually strike up a conversation with them?

Here are a few examples:

1. You didn’t listen to me. Sigh, we probably wouldn't have what it takes to make it work. I already have a feeling that you’re strong and full of sass and we wouldn’t take shit from each other. We’d be arguing one second and you’d be seducing me on the kitchen counter the next.
2.Hey Laura! You kind of look like Taylor Swift.
3.I think you're sweet!
4.Hey Laura, OKCupid says we got issues, but i'm willing to talk to you...i guess.
5.Hey, I work at a hospital.
6.Hey, I'm Ryan.  I saw the Lion King on Broadway.
7.Please post a real photo, this can't be what you actually look like.
8. Let's take a dance class together Laura.
9. I am a surgeon ;)

A man who is 49 years old keeps sending me messages as well....one of his photos looks like this:
Point is:  I don't plan on actually using this because it makes me scared that man-boys are not intelligent anymore + they scare me...just a little bit.  Do people actually use OKCupid or any other dating site?  Does it actually work? Let me know how you feel.  Or am I just having a bad experience with this?

Horny but sensitive...haha.
